KaiaFun MCP Server is a server implementation for the KaiaFun protocol, enabling interaction with the Kaia blockchain and providing token - related services.

🚀 Quick Start

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open protocol that standardizes the way applications provide context to Large Language Models (LLMs).

This repository implements an MCP server for the KaiaFun protocol, supporting token lists, transactions, and interaction with the Kaia blockchain (e.g., checking the token balance of a configured wallet).

📦 Installation

# Clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/weerofun/kaiafun-mcp
cd kaiafun-mcp

# Install dependencies
yarn

# Build
yarn build

The build process will generate output in the directory specified in tsconfig.json (default is dist) via tsc.

To start the MCP server, run dist/kaiafun-mcp-server.js (see #Configuration below).

Configuration

Update your Claude Desktop configuration file, modify claude_desktop_config.json:

• Set mcpServers.kaiafun.args[0] to the absolute path of dist/kaiafun-mcp-server.js.
• Set PRIVATE_KEY with the private key of the configured account.
• We also recommend adding @modelcontextprotocol/server-puppeteer to your configuration for basic web browsing functionality.

⚠️ Important Note

Storing the private key (PRIVATE_KEY) in plain text is insecure and is mainly for development/exploration purposes.

This repository is currently in the development phase, and the contributors of related projects, protocols, and entities are not responsible for financial losses or other issues caused by using this project.

Everyone can use this project at their own risk and contribute to the project by opening issues and pull requests. 💗

🔧 Technical Details

We are also developing a TypeScript SDK for interacting with the KaiaFun protocol. It provides core functionality for our MCP server and can be used independently later. The source code is located in the src/sdk directory.

Currently supported features are as follows:

• ✅ List new tokens and their predefined metadata.
• ✅ Buy and sell tokens using KAIA.

Note that the SDK is also in a test version, and features and implementations may change.
