This MCP server integrates with the LI.FI API to provide cross - chain exchange functionality, supporting multiple liquidity pools and bridging services.

⚠️ Important Note

Do not use this tool to handle your main wallet keystore or wallets containing significant funds!

This tool is for testing and experimental purposes only. Funds may be lost due to the following reasons:

Tools

Token Information

• GetTokens

  • Retrieve all tokens known to the LI.FI service.
  • Parameters: chains, chainTypes, minPriceUSD

• GetToken

  • Obtain detailed information about a specific token.
  • Parameters: chain (required), token (required)

Chain Information

• GetChains

  • Get information on all supported chains.
  • Parameters: chainTypes

• GetChainById

  • Find a chain by its ID.
  • Parameters: id (required)

• GetChainByName

  • Find a chain by its name, key, or ID (case - insensitive).
  • Parameters: name (required)

Cross - Chain Operations

• GetQuote

  • Get a quote for token transfer (cross - chain or within the same chain).
  • Parameters: fromChain, toChain, fromToken, toToken, fromAddress, fromAmount, etc.

• GetStatus

  • Check the status of a cross - chain transfer.
  • Parameters: txHash (required), bridge, fromChain, toChain

• GetConnections

  • Return all possible connections between chains.
  • Parameters: fromChain, toChain, fromToken, toToken, chainTypes

• GetTools

  • Get available bridges and exchanges.
  • Parameters: chains

Wallet Operations

• GetWalletAddress

  • Get the Ethereum address corresponding to the loaded private key.

• GetNativeTokenBalance

  • Get the native token balance of a wallet.
  • Parameters: rpcUrl (required), address (required)

• GetTokenBalance

  • Get the balance of a specific ERC20 token in a wallet.
  • Parameters: tokenContractAddress (required), accountAddress

• GetNativeBalance

  • Get the ETH balance of an Ethereum wallet address.

Transaction Operations

• TransferEth

  • Send ETH.
  • Parameters: toAddress, amountInEth

• TransferToken

  • Send an ERC20 token.
  • Parameters: toAddress, tokenContractAddress, amountInTokens

📦 Installation

Global Installation (Recommended)

You can install the LI.FI MCP server as a global command on your system:

npm install -g li-fi-mcp-server

Local Installation

You can also perform a local installation in your project:

npm install li-fi-mcp-server

💻 Usage Examples

Basic Usage

Start the MCP server (either from node_modules/.bin in the current directory or from the globally installed location):

li-fi-mcp-server

Advanced Usage

To use a custom configuration file, provide the --config parameter:

li-fi-mcp-server --config ./path/to/config.json
