🚀 Biodiversity Model Context Protocol Server

This server provides the context protocol service for biodiversity models, facilitating related applications and operations.

🚀 Quick Start

📦 Installation

On Windows

• Python:
  • Install Python using the official installer. Remember to add Python to the PATH environment variable.
• uv:
  • Open PowerShell and run the following command: powershell -ExecutionPolicy ByPass -c "irm https://astral.sh/uv/install.ps1 | iex"

  ⚠️ Important Note

  Installing with pip may cause PATH configuration issues.

💻 Usage Examples

Activate the virtual environment:

.venv\Scripts\activate

Deactivate the virtual environment:

deactivate

Install the server for Claude Desktop (Note: This command runs the server as a service):

mcp install server.py

Run the server only:

mcp run server.py

Run the server with auto-reloading:

python -m uvicorn server:mcp --reload

Run the development server and Inspector. This requires Node.js and npx to be installed:

mcp dev server.py

View running processes:

Get-Process | Where-Object { $_.ProcessName -like "*mcp*" }

Stop running processes:

Get-Process | Where-Object { $_.ProcessName -like "*mcp*" } | Stop-Process -Force
