🚀 Pump.fun-MCP

A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for interacting with the Pump.fun platform on Solana. This server enables AI assistants to create, buy, and sell tokens on the Pump.fun platform.

Configuration Instructions

To configure Claude or other MCP-compatible AI assistants, follow these steps:

1. Open the settings interface of your AI assistant.
2. In the Model Context Protocol (MCP) section, add the following content:

📦 Installation

Clone the Repository

Run the following command in the terminal to clone this project:

git clone https://github.com/your-username/pumpfun-mcp.git
cd pumpfun-mcp

Install Dependencies

Install the dependencies required for the project:

npm install

Create a Configuration File

Create a file named .env and add the following content. Ensure that the Helius RPC URL and MPC fee address are correct:

Convert an Existing Wallet

If you already have the private key of a Solana wallet, you can use the following command to convert it into a key pair file:

node convert-key.js --private_key your_private_key_here --account_name your_account_name

Tool Functions

• Get Token Information: src/get-token-info.ts - Retrieve information about a specified token.
• Create Token: src/create-token.ts - Create a new token and set the initial purchase price.
• Buy Token: src/buy-token.ts - Purchase tokens at a specified address using SOL.
• Sell Token: src/sell-token.ts - Sell the tokens you hold.
• List Accounts: src/list-accounts.ts - List all managed Solana accounts.
• Get Balance: src/get-token-balance.ts - Check the SOL and token balances of a specified account.

Account Management

MCP automatically creates and manages Solana key pairs, which are saved as JSON files in the .keys folder. Each key pair uses the account name as the file name. When creating a token, the generated mint key pair is also saved in the .keys folder with the mint- prefix.

Usage Notes

1. Security: The key pairs in the .keys folder are not encrypted. Ensure they are properly safeguarded.
2. Fees: All Solana transactions require SOL as a handling fee. Make sure your account has sufficient SOL.
3. Slippage Tolerance: The default slippage tolerance is 1% (100 basis points), which can be adjusted as needed.

Build the Project

Run the following command in the terminal to build the project:

npm run build

Run Tests

To run the test scripts, ensure that all dependencies are installed and then run:

npm test
