Local Installation

Docker Installation

1. Build the Docker image:

docker build -t deriv-api-mcp .

📚 Configuration

Create a .env file in the project root directory:

DERIV_API_TOKEN=Your_API_key_here

💻 Usage Examples

Using on Claude Desktop

Claude Desktop fully supports MCP features. To use this server, follow these steps:

1. Download and install Claude Desktop.
2. Add it to your Claude Desktop configuration:
   • For macOS users: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json
   • For VSCode users (Windows): C:\Users\CurrentUser\AppData\Local\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json

3. Restart Claude Desktop.

This server provides the following tools:

• get_active_symbols: Get a list of active trading symbols.
• get_account_balance: Query the current account balance.
