🚀 eToro MCP Server

This server provides MCP (Model Context Protocol) tools for interacting with eToro's public API endpoints. It allows you to perform the following operations:

• Retrieve a user's portfolio using their username.
• Find detailed information about trading instruments based on their IDs.
• Search for trading instruments by name prefix (autocomplete).

🚀 Quick Start

1. Install dependencies:

npm install

2. Start the development server:

npm run dev

3. Build for production:

npm run build

4. Start the production server:

npm start

📦 Available Tools

fetch_etoro_portfolio

Retrieve an eToro user's portfolio using their username. This tool automatically converts the username to a user identifier (CID).

Parameters:

• username: eToro username
• authToken (optional): Token for authenticated requests

fetch_instrument_details

Get detailed information about a set of eToro trading instruments based on their IDs.

Parameters:

• instrumentIds: List of instrument IDs to get details for
• fields (optional): Fields to include in the response (default: displayname, threeMonthPriceChange, oneYearPriceChange, lastYearPriceChange)

search_instruments

Search for eToro trading instruments by name prefix (autocomplete).

Parameters:

• namePrefix: Prefix to search for in instrument names
• fields (optional): Fields to include in the response (default: internalInstrumentId, displayname, internalClosingPrice)

⚠️ CORS Limitations

⚠️ Important Note

Please note that some eToro API endpoints have CORS restrictions and can only be called from a server-side environment. The tools in this server handle these requests on the server side to avoid CORS issues.

💻 Usage Examples

Basic Usage

The server exposes a REST API to access these tools, which can be called using any HTTP client:

GET /tools                          # List all available tools
GET /tools/:name/schema             # Get the schema of a tool
POST /tools/:name/execute           # Execute a tool
