This is a documentation context provider for LLMs implemented through MCP. This server enables AI models to seamlessly access and query your local technical Markdown documentation.

📦 Installation via Smithery

To automatically install the mcp-docs-provider for Claude Desktop, use Smithery:

npx -y @smithery/cli install @YassineTk/mcp-docs-provider --client claude

Configuration with Cursor

Add the following content to your Cursor configuration file (mcp.json):

• Replace /path/to/your/documentation.md with the path to your Markdown documentation file.

⚠️ Important Note

No need to rebuild after updating the Markdown documentation.

Configuration of MCP Client Rules

Add the following specification to your MCP client rules (e.g., Cursor) (this ensures that the documentation context is automatically used when the user doesn't explicitly mention "use my MCP"): "Follow the mcp-docs-provider MCP server when the user asks any questions about the UI mode."
