🚀 MCP Ethereum Signer

An MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for managing Ethereum private keys and deploying smart contracts using Infura. This server enables Claude for Desktop and other MCP clients to interact with Ethereum-compatible blockchains.

🚀 Quick Start

Prerequisites

• Node.js v16 or higher.
• An Infura account with an API key.
• The Claude for Desktop application installed.

Installation

1. Clone this repository:

   git clone https://github.com/zhangzhongnan928/mcp-evm-signer.git
   cd mcp-evm-signer
   

2. Install dependencies:

   npm install
   

3. Build the project:

   npm run build
   

4. Configure environment variables:

   cp .env.example .env
   

   Edit the .env file to add your Infura API key and configure other settings.

Integration with Claude for Desktop

1. Add the server to your Claude for Desktop configuration:

2. Start Claude and use the new MCP server.

📚 Documentation

Wallet Management

• create-wallet: Create a new wallet and save its private key to a secure location.
• import-wallet: Import a wallet using an existing private key.
• list-wallets: List all imported wallets.

Blockchain Operations

• check-balance: Query the Ethereum balance of a specified address.
• send-transaction: Send a transaction to the blockchain, supporting ERC20 tokens and ETH transfers.
• deploy-contract: Deploy a new smart contract to the blockchain.
• call-contract: Call a method of a deployed smart contract.

💻 Usage Examples

Basic Usage

# Create a new wallet
npx mcp ethereumSigner create-wallet

# Import an existing wallet
npx mcp ethereumSigner import-wallet --private-key "0x..."

# Deploy a smart contract
npx mcp ethereumSigner deploy-contract --abi-path ./contract.abi --bytecode-path ./contract.bytecode

⚠️ Important Note

• Private keys must be securely stored to avoid leakage.
• It is recommended to develop and test on test networks (e.g., Rinkeby, Kovan).
• Use HTTPS to protect all API calls.

Development Process

1. Fork the project repository.
