🚀 Quick Start

The Baseline MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that uses the API of Web Platform Dashboard to query the support status of Web API features. It provides Web feature information based on queries and returns the results to MCP clients.

Baseline Status Explanation

The baseline status indicates the support status of Web features in browsers:

• widely: Widely supported Web standard features that can be safely used in most browsers.
• newly: Newly standardized Web features that are starting to be supported by major browsers but are still in the promotion phase.
• limited: Web features with limited support, which may not be supported by some browsers or require specific flags.
• no_data: Web features that are not currently in the baseline. Browser support needs to be confirmed individually.

MCP Client Configuration

• It is recommended to start the server using Deno.
  • Only allow access to api.webstatus.dev.
• Specify in @yamanoku/baseline-mcp-server, or set up baseline-mcp-server.ts in the local environment and configure the client to read it.

Claude Desktop

To use it in the MCP client of Claude Desktop, add the following settings to cline_mcp_settings.json:

Docker Deployment

To build and run using Docker, refer to the following commands:

# Build the image
docker build -t baseline-mcp .

# Run the container
docker run -p 8000:8000 baseline-mcp

Access http://localhost:8000 to use the service.
