This is a TypeScript-based MCP server used to generate charts through QuickChart.io. It enables you to create various types of charts using MCP tools.

Tools

• generate_chart - Generate a chart URL using QuickChart.io

  • Supports multiple chart types: bar, line, pie, doughnut, radar, polar area, scatter, bubble, radial gauge, speedometer
  • Allows customization of labels, datasets, colors, and additional options
  • Returns the generated chart URL

• download_chart - Download the chart image to a local file

  • Accepts chart configuration and output path as parameters
  • Saves the chart image to the specified location

Supported Chart Types

• Bar Chart: Used to compare values of different categories
• Line Chart: Used to show time trends
• Pie Chart: Used to display proportional data
• Doughnut Chart: Similar to a pie chart with a blank center
• Radar Chart: Used to display multivariate data
• Polar Area Chart: Used to show proportional data in fixed angular segments
• Scatter Chart: Used to display data point distribution
• Bubble Chart: Used to show the size and position of data points
• Radial Gauge: Used to display indicator values
• Speedometer: Used to display range values

📦 Installation

Install Dependencies

npm install

Start the Development Server

npm run dev
