🚀 Electronic Program Guide - MCP

This is an experimental MCP server that makes the transcripts of YouTube playlists available.

Currently, it comes pre - loaded with the transcripts from KubeCon London 2025. However, you can change this by modifying the URL.

🚀 Quick Start

📦 Installation

# Clone this repository
git clone git@github.com:luebken/playlist-mcp.git; cd playlist-mcp

# Install Python dependencies
uv venv
source .venv/bin/activate
uv pip install -e .

# Populate the transcription cache and vector database.
uv run server.py https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLj6h78yzYM2MP0QhYFK8HOb8UqgbIkLMc

Basic Usage - Setup in Claude Desktop
