🚀 Project Introduction

This project aims to provide a Daraja interface implementation based on the Anthropic MCP framework for interacting with Safaricom's M-Pesa API. Currently, the main functions include generating access tokens and some future features to be implemented (such as stk_push, querying transaction status, etc.). Users can complete various payment operations by calling specific tools or using the provided prompts.

Payment Tools

stk_push

Initiate an M-Pesa STK push request, asking the customer to authorize the payment on their phone.

Input Parameters:

• amount (int): The amount to be paid.
• phone_number (int): The customer's phone number.

Return Value: The M-PESA API response result in JSON format.

generate_qr_code

Generate a QR code for the payment request, which the customer can scan to complete the payment.

Input Parameters:

• merchant_name (str): The merchant name/ M-Pesa merchant name.
• transaction_reference_no (str): The transaction reference number.
• amount (int): The total sales/transaction amount.
• transaction_type (Literal["BG", "WA", "PB", "SM", "SB"]): The transaction type.
• credit_party_identifier (str): The payer's identifier (mobile phone number, corporate phone number, agent cash register, Paybill, or merchant for buying goods).

Return Value: The M-PESA API response result in JSON format, including the QR code data.

Payment Prompts

stk_push_prompt

Generate a prompt message for initiating an M-Pesa STK push payment request.

Input Parameters:

• phone_number (str): The customer's phone number.
• amount (int): The amount to be paid.
• purpose (str): The purpose of the payment.

Return Value: A formatted STK push request prompt string.

generate_qr_code_prompt

Generate a prompt message for creating an M-Pesa QR code payment request.

Input Parameters:

• merchant_name (str): The merchant name.
• amount (int): The amount to be paid.
• transaction_type (str): The transaction type (BG for buying goods, WA for wallet, PB for Paybill, SM for sending to an individual, SB for sending to a business).
• identifier (str): The payee's identifier (phone number, corporate number, agent cash register, Paybill, or merchant BuyGoods).
• reference (str, optional): The transaction reference number. If not provided, it will be generated by default.

Return Value: A formatted QR code generation prompt string.

Document Processing Tools

create_source

Create a connector from the data source to the unstructured server for data processing.

Input Parameters:

• connector_name (str): The name of the data source connector to be created.

Return Value: Detailed information of the source connector, including the name and ID.

create_destination

Create a connector from the unstructured server to the target storage location.

Input Parameters:

• connector_name (str): The name of the destination connector to be created.

Return Value: Detailed information of the destination connector, including the name and ID.

create_workflow

Create a workflow for processing data flowing from the source connector to the destination connector.

Input Parameters:

• workflow_name (str): The name of the workflow.
• source_connector_id (str): The unique identifier of the source connector.
• destination_connector_id (str): The unique identifier of the destination connector.

Return Value: The result containing the workflow ID and status (success or failure).

delete_workflow

Delete the workflow with the specified ID.

Input Parameters:

• workflow_id (str): The unique identifier of the workflow to be deleted.

Return Value: The status information of the deletion operation.

Document Processing Prompts

process_document

Process a document using a workflow.

Input Parameters:

• workflow_id (str): The workflow ID for processing the document.
• document_content (str): The content of the document to be processed.

Return Value: The status information containing the processing result.

Error Handling
