📦 Installation

Step 1: Install Dependencies

Run the following command in the terminal:

bundle install

Step 2: Obtain an esa Access Token

Follow these steps to get an access token:

1. Log in to esa.
2. Visit the user settings page (https://[team-name].esa.io/user/applications).
3. Click "New Token" in the "Personal access tokens" section.
4. Enter the token name and select the permission scope (it is recommended to select both read and write permissions).
5. Click the "Create" button.
6. Copy the generated access token.

Step 3: Configure the MCP Server

In the directory where the esa_mcp_server.rb file is located, set the access token and team name through environment variables. Then, add the following content to the Cline MCP configuration file:

Step 4: Add the Configuration to the Cline Settings File

Update the content of claire_mcp_settings.json in the following paths according to your operating system or IDE:

• macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json
• Windows: %APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json
• Linux: ~/.config/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json
• VSCode Extension: ~/.vscode-server/data/User/globalStorage/saoudrizwan.claude-dev/settings/cline_mcp_settings.json
