🚀 How to Configure MCP Server Settings

This guide provides a step-by-step process to configure MCP server settings. By following these steps, you can ensure that your Claude desktop client is properly set up to interact with the MCP server.

🚀 Quick Start

Step 1: Download the Claude Desktop Client

First, download the Claude desktop client from here.

Step 2: Install uv

Install uv using the following command:

brew install uv

Step 3: Install the MCP Server

Edit the claude_desktop_config.json file (located at ~/Library/Application\ 支持/Claude). Add the following content to the mcpServers section:

Note: The dbt implementation file path is optional.

Step 4: Log in to Google Cloud and Update Your Application Default Credentials (ADC)

Run the following command to log in to Google Cloud and update your ADC:

gcloud auth login --update-adc

Step 5: Open the Claude Desktop Client and Start Asking Questions!

Once you've completed the above steps, open the Claude desktop client and start interacting with it.

For Windows users, you may need to add the APPDATA environment variable to the Claude desktop configuration file:
