🚀 Quick Start

1. Install Dependencies

npm install

2. Start the UI (Choose one method)

# Standard Next.js development server
npm run ui

# Clean start (kill processes occupying the port)
npm run ui:clean

# Alternative Express server (if there are issues with Next.js)
npm run ui:express

# Desktop application (no web server required)
npm run ui:electron

3. Access the Web Interface

http://localhost:3001

(This step is not required for the desktop application option)

UI Options

The project offers multiple ways to access the UI:

1. Next.js Development Server

# Standard Next.js development server
npm run ui

# Clean start (kill processes occupying the port)
npm run ui:clean

# Start with administrator privileges (resolve stubborn process issues)
npm run ui:admin

2. Alternative Server Options

# Simple Express server (more stable alternative)
npm run ui:express

# Basic HTML test page server
npm run ui:test

3. Desktop Application

In environments with connection issues to the web server:

# Electron desktop application (no web server required)
npm run ui:electron

Troubleshooting the UI Server

If you encounter connection issues with the UI server:

1. Check your firewall settings.
2. Run the firewall exemption script: npm run firewall:allow.
3. Refer to scripts/docs/ui-connect-guide.md for detailed connection troubleshooting guidance.
4. Try the desktop application option: npm run ui:electron.

Utility Scripts

This repository contains several utility scripts to assist with development and troubleshooting:

Necessary Server Scripts (in scripts/server/)

• run-ui-clean.bat - The main script to start the UI server (clean existing processes).
• run-ui-admin.bat - Start the UI server with administrator privileges.
• run-server.bat - Start the project server.
• run-client.bat - Start the project client.

Network-related Scripts (in scripts/network/)

• check-port.bat - Check port occupancy.
• kill-port.bat - Kill processes occupying a port.
• network-test.bat - Conduct network connection tests.

Documentation Scripts (in scripts/docs/)

• generate-docs.bat - Generate project documentation.

📦 Installation

Development Information

• Node.js Version Requirement: v14.19.1 or higher.
• Yarn Version Requirement: v1.22.5 or higher.
• Build Command:

  npm run build
  

• Start Command:

  npm start
