winsecMCP is a Python-based MCP server designed to be used with the Claude client. It aims to assist administrators in automating the configuration of Windows system security settings. The tool offers a range of functions for checking and modifying security configurations, including but not limited to firewall settings, RDP configurations, UAC adjustments, account policies, service management, and user account management.

🚀 Quick Start

Prerequisites

• Operating System: Windows
• Python Version: 3.10 or higher
• Administrator privileges (required for most operations)
• Required Python packages:
  • mcp

Usage

Run the script as an administrator and start the Claude client:

python winsecMCP.py

Ensure the following content is added to the claude_desktop_config.json file:
