📦 Installation

Prerequisites

• Deno v2.0 or higher installed.
• Git installed.

Installation Steps

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/masseater/esa-mcp-server.git
   cd esa-mcp-server
   

2. Create and configure the .env file:

   cp .env.example .env
   # Fill in your actual API token and team name in the .env file
   

3. (Optional) Enable Git hooks to automatically run code checks before committing:

   deno run -A https://deno.land/x/deno_hooks/mod.ts install
   

💻 Usage Examples

Running Locally

deno run --allow-env --allow-net --allow-read main.ts

Alternatively, run with hot-reloading feature:

deno task dev

Validation and Testing

Run the following command to perform format checks, code reviews, type checks, and unit tests. These checks will run automatically in the pre-commit hook.

deno task check:all

To run integration tests (communicating with the actual esa.io API), make sure the .env file is configured correctly:

deno task test:integration

🚀 Publishing to JSR

Update the Version Number

Update the version field in deno.jsonc.

Commit Changes

Commit your code changes.

Perform Pre-release Checks

Run the following command to view the upcoming release output:

deno publish --dry-run

Publish

If everything is okay, run the following command to officially publish:

deno publish
