📦 Installation

Quick Installation

npm install claude-mcp@latest --save-dev

Global Installation (Recommended)

npm install -g claude-mcp-cli

Initialize the Project

Run the following command in your project directory to initialize Claude MCP:

claude init

Complete the configuration as prompted and then start the service:

claude start

Tool Management

1. List All Tools:

claude tools list

2. Run a Specific Tool:

claude tool:<tool-name> <command>

3. View Tool Documentation:

claude docs <tool-name>

Configuration File

By default, the configuration file is located at ~/.claude-mcp/config.json. You can edit the configuration using the following command:

Tool Templates

Claude MCP provides a tool template to assist developers in quickly creating new tool modules.

Create a New Tool

1. Copy the template directory:

cp -r src/tools/tool-template src/tools/your-tool-name

2. Implement Your Tool:

Future Development

Claude MCP plans to incorporate the following features in future versions:

1. Support for More Languages: Currently, it mainly supports JavaScript and TypeScript. In the future, it will be extended to other languages such as Python and Java.
