An MCP server obsessed with Ethereum, whose creator is still pondering its ultimate purpose. Currently, it exists just for fun!

🚀 Quick Start

This is an MCP server dedicated to Ethereum. It allows AI models to access Ethereum blockchain data and perform operations. Below are the steps to get started:

Prerequisites

• Python 3.7+
• web3.py
• requests
• mcp.server.fastmcp

Installation

1. Clone the repository.
2. Install the required dependencies:

   pip install web3 requests
   pip install mcp mcp[cli]
   pip install uv
   

3. Replace the Etherscan API key in the code:

   ETHERSCAN_API_KEY = "YOUR_API_KEY_HERE"
   

Usage in Cursor

1. Open the MCP settings in Cursor.

2. Click the "Add new global MCP server" button.

3. Set the following configuration, replacing the path with your own:

4. After successful setup, you can use the chat function in Cursor to get Ethereum information.

The currently supported tools and services are:

• get_eth_balance(address) - Get the ETH balance of an address.
• get_eth_price() - Get the current Ethereum price (USD).
• get_gas_price() - Get the current gas price of the Ethereum network.
• get_latest_block() - Get the latest block information.
• get_transaction(tx_hash) - Get transaction details.
• estimate_tx_fee(gas_amount) - Estimate the transaction fee.
• get_account_transactions(address, page, offset) - Get the account transaction history.
