🚀 Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server for GraphQL Policy API

This repository contains an implementation of a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that provides access policies for the GraphQL API.

This server is built using the python SDK for MCP and utilizes the GQL library to interact with the GraphQL API.

🚀 Quick Start

Clone the Repository

git clone https://github.com/Ad-Veritas/mcp-server-trueRAG.git
cd mcp-server-trueRAG

Ensure uv is Installed

uv --version

If uv is not installed, you can use the following commands to install it:

# For macOS and Linux.
curl -LsSf https://astral.sh/uv/install.sh | sh

# For Windows.
powershell -ExecutionPolicy ByPass -c "irm https://astral.sh/uv/install.ps1 | iex"

Define Environment Variables

The server is configured to work with the GraphQL API of one of the TrueRag systems. After creating the TrueRAG environment, copy the API key and endpoint to the environment variables.

Create a file named .env in the root directory of the repository and add the following content:

GRAPHQL_API_KEY = "{your_api_key}"
GRAPHQL_ENDPOINT = "{your_graphql_endpoint}"

Add to the MCP Client, e.g., Claude Desktop

Add the following content to the Claude configuration file (~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json):
