📦 Installation

Install via Smithery

To automatically install @felores/placid-mcp-server (for Claude Desktop) via Smithery:

npx -y @smithery/cli install @felores/placid-mcp-server --client claude

Install using npx

The quickest way to get started is by using npx:

Then add the server configuration to your Claude Desktop or Cline settings:

Manual Installation

1. Clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/felores/placid-mcp-server.git
cd placid-mcp-server

2. Install dependencies:

npm install

3. Build the project:

npm run build

4. Add the server configuration to your Claude Desktop or Cline settings:

Replace path/to/placid-mcp-server with the actual path where you cloned the repository.

💻 Usage Examples

Basic Usage

To obtain your Placid API token:

1. Log in to your Placid.app account.
2. Go to Settings > API.
3. Click "Create API Token".
4. Give the token a name (e.g., my-plaid-token).
5. Copy and save the generated token. It's recommended to add it to your environment variables for security.

Advanced Usage

To run the server in a development environment, execute the following command:

npm run dev

This will start the debug mode and display any error or log information.

plaid CLI Tool

This repository comes with a simple CLI tool that allows you to interact with the Placid API from the console. To use it, run:

npx plaid

This will display all available subcommands and their descriptions.

List Templates

npx plaid templates

This command will return all available Placid templates in your account.

Generate Creatives

npx plaid generate --template-id=TEMPLATE_ID --prompt="your prompt here"

Replace TEMPLATE_ID and the prompt content to generate the desired creative content.
