🚀 ChargeNow MCP Server

A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that provides information about electric vehicle charging stations using the ChargeNow API. This server enables AI assistants supporting the MCP protocol (such as Claude) to search for electric vehicle charging stations near a specified address.

📦 Installation

1. Clone the repository.
2. Install dependencies:

npm install

3. Build the project:

npm run build

Configuration Instructions

This server requires an API key for a geocoding service. You can configure it in one of the following ways:

1. Environment Variables

Set the GEOCODE_API_KEY environment variable:

export GEOCODE_API_KEY="your_api_key_here"

2. MCP Server Configuration

When used with an MCP client (such as Claude), make the following settings in your MCP configuration:

Replace /path/to/chargenow-mcp/build/index.js with the actual absolute path of the built file.
