Starting the MCP Server

node src/server.js

📦 Installation

Install via Smithery

1. Visit Smithery.
2. Search for and install the @JiantaoFu/appinsightmcp project.
3. Configure project parameters and start the service.

Install Using Docker

docker pull your-docker-image
docker run -p 3000:3000 your-docker-image

Install Using NPX

1. Make sure Node.js and npm are installed.
2. Run the project using the following command:

npx your-package-name -- --port 3000

Testing

Test Using MCP Inspector

Follow these steps to use MCP Inspector:

1. Download and install MCP Inspector.
2. Open MCP Inspector and connect to your MCP server.
3. Select the appropriate API tool in the toolbar for testing.

Test Using mcp-cli

1. Install Node.js and npm.
2. Install mcp-cli globally:

npm install -g mcp-cli

3. Call the MCP server using the following command:

mcp-cli --server http://localhost:3000 --tool app-store-details --params '{"id":"123456"}'
