🚀 MCP (Multi-functional Command Processor) Server

The MCP server provides APIs for retrieving the current US dollar exchange rate, the weather forecast for a specified city, and a news summary from the past week.

📦 Installation

Prerequisites

• Python 3.7 or higher
• pip installed

Installation Steps

1. Clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/VenGr0/mcp-server.git
cd mcp-server

2. Create and activate a virtual environment:

python -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate  # For Linux/MacOS
venv\Scripts\activate     # For Windows

3. Install the dependencies:

pip install -r requirements.txt

Start the Server

Run the following command to start the server:

python server.py

The server will be available at http://127.0.0.1:5000.

Run Tests

To execute the tests, run:

pytest tests/test_server.py
