🚀 Finage MCP Server

A Market Connectivity Protocol (MCP) server for the Finage API, a stock market data API. Only a small subset of endpoints are implemented.

⚠️ Important Note

This package is still under development and currently only supports two endpoints in version v0.0.1. Use it with caution.

📦 Installation

Get an API Key

1. Sign up for an account at Free Finage API Key.
2. Add the API key to the environment variable FINAGE_API_KEY.
3. Make sure the uv tool is installed.

Clone the Project

git clone https://github.com/KendamaQQ/finage_mcp.git

Usage in Claude Desktop

Add the following content to your claude_desktop_config.json file:

⚠️ Important Note

Replace <DIRECTORY-OF-CLONED-PROJECT> with the actual directory path of the cloned project, and replace YOUR_API_KEY_HERE with your API key.
