The MCP Server supports the APIs of the Eyevinn Open Source Platform, enabling developers to build solutions based on open-source web services. Through open web services, creators can earn revenue shares from the platform. There is no vendor lock-in as all services are based on open-source technologies.

The MCP Server provides a series of open-source web services, allowing developers to build various applications. You can start by creating databases, storage buckets, and VOD pipelines.

• Database Setup: Create and configure SQL, NoSQL, or in-memory databases and offer them as open web services in an open-source manner.
• Storage Setup: Create an S3-compatible storage bucket and offer it as an open web service in an open-source manner.
• VOD Pipeline: Build a video-on-demand (VOD) transcoding and packaging pipeline.

Tools

1. osc_create_db

   • Create a new database instance.
   • Input:
     • name (string): The name of the database instance.
     • type (string): The database type (SQL, NoSQL, or in-memory database).
   • Output: The database connection string.

2. osc_create_bucket

   • Create a storage bucket.
   • Input:
     • name (string): The name of the storage bucket.
   • Output: The endpoint and credential information of the storage bucket.

3. osc_create_vod_pipeline

   • Create a VOD transcoding and packaging pipeline.
   • Input:
     • name (string): The name of the pipeline.
     • output (string): The name of the target storage bucket where the files will be stored.
   • Output: The REST endpoint for submitting jobs.

Setup

Personal Access Token

• If you haven't registered yet, register at Eyevinn OSC Account.
• Go to API Settings in the Eyevinn OSC console (Path: Settings > API Settings).
• Copy your personal access token.

Using Claude Desktop Version

To use it in the Claude desktop version, add the following to claude_desktop_config.json:
