  • Usage patterns

search_api

Search across all Marimo API documentation.

• Input: query (string) - The term to find in the documentation
• Output: An array of matching documentation entries from any section

💻 Usage Examples

Basic Usage

Development

Install dependencies:

npm install

Build the server:

npm run build

Development with auto-rebuild:

npm run watch

Advanced Usage

Debugging

Since the MCP server communicates via standard input and output, debugging can be challenging. During development, the server outputs detailed logs to the standard error stream.

You can also use MCP Inspector:

npm run inspector

The Inspector will provide a URL to access debugging tools in the browser.
