🚀 Hyperliquid MCP Server

This project implements a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server in Node.js, allowing you to query your Hyperliquid positions. The server provides a tool accessible from MCP clients, such as the Claude Desktop application.

Overview

The MCP server offers a tool named get-hyperliquid-positions, enabling Claude to obtain the unrealized PnL and position information of any Hyperliquid wallet address. This integration achieves seamless interaction between Claude and your Hyperliquid trading data.

Prerequisites

• Node.js installed on your system
• Claude Desktop application installed
• npm (Node Package Manager)

Building the Project

1. Clone this repository:

git clone https://github.com/tomarsachin2271/hyperliquid-mcp.git
cd hyperliquid-mcp

2. Install dependencies:

npm install

3. Build the project:

npm run build

This will generate the dist/index.js file, which will be used by the MCP server.

Configuring Claude Desktop

1. Open the Claude Desktop application.
2. Go to Claude → Settings → Developer → Edit Configuration in the menu bar.
3. This will open your configuration file in Finder (on macOS).
4. Add the following configuration to the file:

Replace /path/to/your with the actual path to your project directory. 5. Save the configuration file. 6. Restart the Claude Desktop application.

Using the Tool

After configuration:

1. You'll see a hammer icon at the bottom right of the chat input box.
2. The MCP tool will be displayed as "get-hyperliquid-positions".
3. You can ask Claude questions like:

   "Can you tell me my unrealized pnl on hyperliquid for 0x7f3B192Ab3220940D66236792F3EBDB0e4E74138?"
   

4. Claude will recognize the required tool and request your confirmation.
5. Click "Allow" to execute the query.
6. Claude will display the query results in the chat.

Basic Usage

"Can you tell me my unrealized pnl on hyperliquid for 0x7f3B192Ab3220940D66236792F3EBDB0e4E74138?"

Advanced Usage

After Claude recognizes the tool and requests confirmation, you can click "Allow" to execute more complex queries related to your Hyperliquid positions. For example, you can ask for detailed position information for multiple wallet addresses at once.
