🚀 MCP Server - IndexNow Indexing Service

A server supporting the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for submitting URL update events via IndexNow.

🚀 Quick Start

This is a server that supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP), designed to submit URL update events through IndexNow. By default, it uses IndexNow's main API endpoint https://api.indexnow.org/indexnow to submit events. You can also configure it to use different endpoints or customize its behavior.

• Support for single and multiple URL submissions.
• Optional environment variable configuration:
  • INDEXNOW_API_BASE: Custom API endpoint.
  • INDEXNOW_KEY_LOCATION: Location of the custom key file.
  • INDEXNOW_API_TIMEOUT: Set the request timeout (default is 30 seconds).
• Detailed log output and error handling.

📦 Installation

Install with uvx

uvx install gh:zizzfizzix/mcp-server-indexnow

Manual Installation

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/zizzfizzix/mcp-server-indexnow.git
   cd mcp-server-indexnow
   

2. Install dependencies:

   make install
   

3. Start the server:

   make start
