This MCP server provides the following tools for large language models (LLMs):

get_nearby_duty_pharmacies

• Retrieve the ten nearest pharmacies on duty today, sorted by distance from a given address.

📦 Installation

System Requirements

• Python 3.10+

Dependencies

Install all the required dependencies:

Required Packages

• fastmcp: Build the Model Context Protocol server framework.
• geopy: A Python library for accessing and geocoding/reverse geocoding addresses.
• httpx: A Python HTTP client that provides a simple and intuitive API for making HTTP requests.

All dependencies are specified in pyproject.toml.

You can install this MCP server on Claude Desktop or other platforms. To use this server, add the following configurations to the settings file:

Safety Features

• Rate Limiting: Each geocoding call has a rate limit (e.g., a 1-second delay) to avoid exceeding usage limits due to excessive requests.
• Error Handling: Catch geopy exceptions (timeout, service errors) and return a safe [] result instead of crashing.
