🚀 DeBanK MCP Server

A stateless Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for retrieving blockchain and DeFi data by interacting with the DeBanK API.

This project implements a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, offering various tools to query blockchain data, including chains, protocols, tokens, pools, and user assets. The server is built using @modelcontextprotocol/sdk and leverages HTTP streamability to provide an efficient and modern API interface.

The server is designed to be completely stateless, with each request processed independently, making it highly scalable and stable in a production environment.

📦 Installation

Prerequisites

• Deno version 1.35 or higher.
• DeBanK API access key - Get one here.

Steps

1. Clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/yourusername/debank-mcp-server.git
cd debank-mcp-server

2. Set up environment variables

export ACCESS_KEY=your_debank_api_key

Running the Server

Start the server using the following command:

deno run --allow-net --allow-env main.ts

The server will start and listen on the default port 8080. You can now send MCP requests to http://localhost:8080/mcp.

MCP HTTP Streamable Implementation

This project uses StreamableHTTPServerTransport from the Model Context Protocol SDK to handle MCP requests. Each request creates a new server instance and transmission, making the service completely stateless:

const transport = new StreamableHTTPServerTransport({

// Connect to the server
await server.connect(transport);

// Handle the request
await transport.handleRequest(req, res, req.body);

This implementation simplifies deployment and scaling as there's no need to manage session states across multiple instances.

Configuration

You can configure the following environment variables:

• ACCESS_KEY - Your DeBanK API access key.
• PORT - (Optional) The port on which the server runs (Default: 8080).
