This is an MCP server designed for learning and interaction, supporting multiple transmission protocols and configuration methods.

🚀 Quick Start

📦 Installation

1. Ensure that Dart SDK version 3.7.2 or higher is installed.
2. Create a me.yaml configuration file in the project root directory.
3. Run the following command to install dependencies:

dart pub get

🐳 Using Docker

Build the Docker image

docker build -t jhgaylor/me-mcp-server:local .

Run the Docker container

docker run -p 3000:3000 \
  -v $(pwd)/me.yaml:/app/me.yaml \
  -e PORT=3000 \
  -e ENVIRONMENT=production \
  jhgaylor/me-mcp-server:local

Docker configuration example

services:
  mcp-server:
    volumes:
      - ./me.yaml:/app/me.yaml

      - HOST=0.0.0.0

💻 Running Modes

Run using the SSE protocol

dart bin/sse_server.dart

Run using the Stdio protocol

dart bin/stdio_server.dart

Configuration Instructions

Environment variables

• HOST: The host to which the server binds, defaulting to localhost.
• PORT: The port on which the server listens, defaulting to 3000.
• ENVIRONMENT: The running environment, with optional values of development or production.

Development Instructions

Create a configuration object

Running instructions

1. Install the Dart SDK and project dependencies.
2. Create or edit the me.yaml configuration file.
3. Select the transmission protocol to run the server as needed.
