🚀 MCP Server Example

This project is a very basic MCP server that can be consumed by Cursor or other tools.

Modify index.ts and add any tools you want, or keep the default ones.

📦 Installation

Then build the project:

pnpm run build

💻 Usage Examples

Basic Usage

Run the server:

pnpm run start

Now, add a .cursor/mcp.json file to your project and paste the following content:

Replace [path] with the absolute path of this project. Run pwd in the project folder to get this path. For example, in my case:

        }

Now, go to "Settings" in Cursor. You should be able to see it in the MCP server list. Enable it (click on the top right).

Now, go to the chat interface, switch to proxy mode, and select claude-3.7-sonnet as your model.

Enter the following:

What's the weather like in Texas?

It will use MCP to first get weather alerts and then the forecast.
