📦 Installation

Prerequisites

• Node.js (v16 or higher)
• A Contentful account with an API key
• Claude Desktop (to use this MCP server with Claude)

Steps

1. Clone this repository:

git clone https://github.com/yourusername/contentful-mcp-server.git
cd contentful-mcp-server

2. Install dependencies:

npm install

3. Create a .env file in the root directory containing your Contentful credentials:

CONTENTFUL_SPACE_ID=your_space_id
CONTENTFUL_ACCESS_TOKEN=your_access_token
CONTENTFUL_ENVIRONMENT=develop
CONTENTFUL_PREVIEW_ACCESS_TOKEN=your_preview_token

4. Run the build:

npm run build

Alternatively, configure the build script in package.json:
