🚀 Ultimate Frisbee Team MCP Server

This is an MCP (MCP) server for managing an ultimate frisbee team, leveraging FastMCP to enhance performance and availability. The server supports player management, tournament management, and related functionalities.

🚀 Quick Start

Prerequisites

• Python 3.x
• Pip

Installation

1. Create a virtual environment and install dependencies

python -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate  # For macOS and Linux
venv\Scripts\activate  # For Windows
pip install -r requirements.txt

2. Configure environment variables Create a .env file by referring to the provided .env-template.
3. Set up the database connection

• SQLiteCloud format: SQLITE_URI=sqlitecloud://hostname:port/database?apikey=your_api_key
• Local SQLite format: SQLITE_URI=file:///path/to/database.db

If the environment variables are not set, the default local SQLite database path is ~/.ultimate.db. 4. Run tests

pytest tests/

Command List

• ultimate-team-mcp-server help: Display all available commands.
• import-csv: Import a CSV file (legacy version).

Integration with Claude Code

1. Start the MCP server.
2. Install Claude Code.
3. Add the MCP server:

   claude mcp add ultimate -- ultimate-team-mcp-server
   

4. Run Claude and start using it.

Database Structure

The database tables include:

• Players: Name, contact information.
• Tournaments: Name, location, date, venue type, registration deadline.
• Registration Records: Players' participation status and payment information for tournaments.
• Federation Payments: Amounts and payment histories.

The detailed schema is defined in the src/ultimate_mcp_server/modules/init_db.py file.

CSV Import Format

The CSV file format is as follows:

The field names are case-insensitive and support both English and Spanish (Nombre/Name, Telefono/Phone, Email).

Difference between Import Commands

• import-csv: Legacy import tool that adds new players without handling duplicates.
• import-players: New import tool that adds and updates existing player information.
