This is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for retrieving user information, event participation details, etc., from Connpass.

🚀 Quick Start

📦 Installation

1. (Skip this step if you already have a Connpass API key) Apply for a Connpass API key. For detailed information, refer to the Connpass API Usage Guide.
2. Clone this repository.
3. Configure the necessary environment variables. Copy .env.example to .env and set your Connpass API key in it.

4. Start the server.

Using Node.js

1. Install the dependencies required to start the MCP server:

npm ci

2. Build the TypeScript files:

npm run build

3. Specify the built file in the MCP client's configuration file:

Using Docker

Add the project to the Dockerfile and build it:

# Assume the Dockerfile content is as follows:
FROM node:20

WORKDIR /app

COPY package*.json ./

RUN npm install

COPY . .

CMD ["node", "out/index.js"]

Then build the image and run the container:

docker build -t connpass-mcp-server .
docker run --env-file .env connpass-mcp-server

Get User Information

• /api/users: Returns detailed information about all users.
• /api/users/${username}: Returns detailed information about the specified user.

Get User Events

• /api/users/${username}/events: Returns all events that the specified user has participated in.
• /api/users/${username}/presentations: Returns events where the specified user is a speaker.

You can pass the following prompts to the LLM:

Testing

Using Deno for Testing

Run the integration tests for the Connpass API:
