📦 Installation

Using Claude Desktop

Installation via Docker

• Clone the repository and build a local image for your Claude desktop client:

cd alpaca-mcp
docker build -t mcp/alpaca .

• Modify your claude_desktop_config.json file to match the following configuration. Replace REPLACE_API_KEY and REPLACE_API_SECRET with your actual keys:

claude_desktop_config.json path

• On MacOS: ~/Library/Application\ Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json
• On Windows: %APPDATA%/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json

Installation via UV (Fast Python Package Installer)

UV is a modern Python package installer that simplifies the installation process. To install alpaca - mcp using UV:

1. First, install UV if you don't have it yet:

pip install uv

brew install uv

2. Configure your Claude Desktop configuration file to use UV:

3. Install the package using UV:
