Octagon VC Agents is a tool for investment analysis and decision-making. It simulates the different styles and strategies of multiple venture capitalists (VCs) to assist users in making more comprehensive investment decisions.

📦 Installation

Install with pipx

Run the following command in the terminal:

pip install octagon-vc-agents

📚 Documentation

Configuration in Claude Desktop

1. Open Claude Desktop.
2. Go to Settings > Developer > Edit Configuration.
3. Add the following content to the claude_desktop_config.json file:

3. Click "+ Add New MCP Server".
4. Enter the following information:
   • Name: octagon-mcp
   • Type: Command
   • Command: env OCTAGON_API_KEY=YOUR_OCTAGON_API_KEY_HERE OPENAI_API_KEY=YOUR_OPENAI_API_KEY_HERE pipx run --pip-args="--no-cache-dir" octagon-vc-agents run

Configuration in Windsurf

Add the following content to ./codeium/windsurf/model_config.json:

• Communication preferences

Customization Options

1. Add new investor roles by creating corresponding markdown configuration files.

3. Optimize the orchestration logic for complex multi - angle analysis.
