To enhance the information management efficiency and user experience of the mem0 MCP server, we propose the following improvement plan. These improvements aim to enhance the functionality of the add_project_memory method, optimize the data structure, and provide a more efficient search mechanism.

  • Hierarchical Structure: Adopt the format of [Project]:[Module]:[Function], for example, project:member-system:user-authentication.
  • Extended Support: Allow the use of null values (null) or omission to meet different scenario requirements.

2. Custom Instruction Updates

We provide a series of template examples covering core functions such as project status, risk assessment, and task management. These examples not only demonstrate basic usage but also highlight the use of the hierarchical structure of run_id and the application of standardized metadata.

b. Metadata Specification

• Required Fields: Include project_name and timestamp.
• Optional Fields:

  • type: Define the content type (e.g., status, risk, task).
  • priority: Set the importance level (e.g., high, medium, low).
