📦 Installation

Global Package Installation

npm install -g @melaodoidao/datagov-mcp-server

MCP Server Configuration

• Add the following content to your cline_mcp_settings.json file (usually located at ~/Library/Application Support/Code/User/globalStorage/saoudrizwan.claude-dev/settings/ for macOS users):

• If you are using the Claude desktop application, add the content to the ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json file.

💻 Usage Examples

Basic Usage

This server provides the following tools:

• package_search: Search for packages (datasets) on Data.gov.
• package_show: Get detailed information about a specific package (dataset).
• group_list: List the groups on Data.gov.
• tag_list: List the tags on Data.gov.

It also provides the following resource templates:

• datagov://resource/{url}: Access Data.gov resources via URL.

You can use these tools and resources in Cline by specifying the server name (datagov-mcp-server) and the tool/resource name.
