🚀 py-mcp-google

py-mcp-google is an MCP server tool that provides interfaces for interacting with Google Workspace, including Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive.

🚀 Quick Start

After installation, you can use the web interface by accessing http://localhost:8000.

📦 Installation

Install from Source

1. Clone the repository:

git clone git@github.com:jikime/py-mcp-google.git
cd py-mcp-google
pip install .

2. Start the server:

uv run server.py

Use Docker

docker build -t py-mcp-google .
docker run -it py-mcp-google

Configuration

Environment Variables

Set the following environment variables to customize the behavior:

• GOOGLE_CREDENTIALS: Path to the Google API credentials file.
• DEFAULT_EMAIL: Default email address.

Tool Documentation

Gmail Tools

• list_emails: List recent emails in the inbox, supporting filtering options.
• search_emails: Perform advanced searches and get detailed email content.
• send_email: Compose and send emails, supporting CC and BCC recipients.
• modify_email: Modify email status (read/unread, archive, delete).

Calendar Tools

• list_events: Get calendar events within a specified time period.
• create_event: Create new events, supporting adding participants and location descriptions.
• update_event: Update existing event information.
• delete_event: Delete events based on the event ID.

Drive Tools

• read_gdrive_file: Read and get the content of Google Drive files.
• search_gdrive: Search for files, supporting custom queries.

Search Tools

• search_google: Perform Google searches and return formatted results.
