What is Claude Notes with MCP?

This implementation lets you create, update and query a notes.txt file through Claude Desktop application using Anthropic's Model Context Protocol (MCP). Your notes become searchable context that Claude can reference when answering questions.

How does it work?

The system maintains a notes.txt file that serves both as storage for your notes and as context Claude can reference. You can add/edit notes, then ask Claude questions that will be answered using information from your notes.

When to use this?
