🚀 VseGPT MCP Server

This project contains a set of Python-based MCP servers developed for VseGPT.

The MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a protocol designed for the interaction between language models and external context services. The main functions of MCP include:

• Providing APIs for models to access real-time data and knowledge.
• Supporting the execution of real-world operations (such as sending emails, processing files, etc.).
• Ensuring the security of interactions with external systems.

The MCP server acts as an intermediate layer between the language model and other services/data, offering standardized interfaces for interaction.

📦 Installation

The required environment for running is Python and the fastmcp package (version 0.4.1 as of startup).

🔧 Technical Details

Different functions of VseGPT are usually provided by different servers instead of being concentrated in a single server. This design allows for the dynamic enabling or disabling of functions in the model tool field, avoiding overloading and confusion of the model context.

💻 Usage Examples

mcp_gen_image.py

This is a server for generating images via VseGPT. The generated files are saved in the /tmp_images folder where the script is located.

Running command: fastmcp run mcp_gen_image.py

Environment variable parameters:

• VSEGPT_API_KEY=Your_VseGPT_API_key (Required)
• IMG_MODEL_ID=The ID of the image generation model on the VseGPT website (Optional, default is img-dummy/image)
• IMG_SIZE=The size of the generated image (Optional, default is 1024x1024)

mcp_gen_tts.py

(Test version, it is recommended to adjust the code according to your needs)

This is a server for generating speech via VseGPT. The generated files are saved in the /tmp_images folder where the script is located. After generation, MPC - HC will automatically start to play the audio.

Running command: fastmcp run mcp_gen_tts.py

Environment variable parameters:
