This project provides an MCP server for VOICEPEAK's text-to-speech feature.

• Generate audio files from text (up to 140 characters).
• Play audio files directly.
• List available narrators and emotions.
• Manage pronunciation dictionaries (except on Windows).

Configuration

Add the following to Claude Desktop's settings:

Available Tools

synthesize

Generate an audio file from text (up to 140 characters).

Parameters:

• text (required): The text to synthesize.
• narrator: The name of the narrator.
• emotion: The emotion parameter.
• speed: Speaking speed (50 - 200).
• pitch: Pitch (-300 to 300).
• outputPath: The output file path.

synthesize_and_play

Generate and immediately play the audio (up to 140 characters).

play

Play an audio file.

list_narrators

List available narrators.

list_emotions

List available emotions for the narrator.

dictionary_list

List all pronunciation dictionary entries.

⚠️ Important Note

The dictionary feature is not available on Windows. Windows users should manage the pronunciation dictionary in the VOICEPEAK application.

dictionary_add

Add or update a dictionary entry for custom pronunciation.

Parameters:

• surface (required): The text to replace.
• pronunciation (required): The pronunciation in Japanese kana.
• priority: Priority (0 - 10, default: 5).

⚠️ Important Note

This is not available on Windows.

dictionary_remove

Delete a dictionary entry.

⚠️ Important Note

This is not available on Windows.

dictionary_find

Search for dictionary entries by text.

⚠️ Important Note

This is not available on Windows.

dictionary_clear

Clear all dictionary entries.

⚠️ Important Note

This is not available on Windows.

Supported Platforms

• ✅ macOS (Fully supported)
• ⚠️ Windows (Partially supported: Only voice synthesis and playback, dictionary functions are not supported)
• 🚧 Linux (Planned)

Limitations on Windows

In the Windows version, the pronunciation dictionary management functions (dictionary_*) are not available. If you need to customize pronunciations, please manage the dictionary through the VOICEPEAK application.
