🚀 FonParam MCP Server

This Model Context Protocol (MCP) server enables Claude Desktop to access investment fund data in Turkey. You can retrieve the latest fund data, performance statistics, and comparisons through the FonParam API.

🚀 Quick Start

Option 1: Installation via NPM (Recommended)

Since the NPM package will run automatically, no separate installation is required. You can run the package using npx in the Claude Desktop configuration.

Option 2: Installation from Source Code

1. Install Dependencies

npm install

2. Build the Project

npm run build

Claude Desktop Configuration

Add the following configuration to the claude_desktop_config.json file of Claude Desktop:

Windows:

%APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json

macOS:

~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json

Linux:

~/.config/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json

⚠️ Important Note

For installation from source code, replace /full/path/to/fonparam-mcp with the actual path of your project.

4. Restart Claude Desktop

After adding the configuration, close and reopen Claude Desktop.

• analyze_fund: Conduct fund investment analysis.

• list_companies: List portfolio management companies.
• company_details: Retrieve company details.

• statistics: List daily statistics.
• latest_statistics: Retrieve the latest statistics.
• statistics_by_date: Retrieve statistics for a specific date.

💻 Usage Examples

Sample Commands in Claude Desktop:

Show the top 10 performing funds.

List the funds belonging to the "ATA PORTFÖY" company.

Compare the AAK and DAH funds.

Calculate how much money will be in the AAK fund if 10,000 TL is invested from the beginning of the year to now.

Show the performance of equity funds this month.

Show the latest inflation data.

This server uses the free tier of the FonParam API and is subject to rate limiting rules:

• Maximum 25 requests in 15 minutes.
• Maximum 100 requests per day.

You may consider obtaining an API key for heavy usage.
