What is the Nerdearla Agenda MCP Server?
This is a server based on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), specifically designed to access and query the agenda information of the Nerdearla technology conference. It allows AI assistants (such as Claude) to directly obtain data such as conference schedules, speech information, and time arrangements without users having to search manually. The server automatically fetches the latest data from the Nerdearla official website and provides fast responses through an intelligent caching system. How to use the Nerdearla Agenda MCP Server?
It's very simple to use: 1) Install the server on your system; 2) Configure Claude Desktop or other MCP clients; 3) Directly ask the AI assistant for conference-related information. The server supports two connection methods: local STDIO connection (recommended) and remote HTTP connection. After installation, the AI assistant can understand and answer various questions about the Nerdearla agenda.Use cases
It is suitable for: 1) Nerdearla attendees who want to quickly understand the conference schedule; 2) Speakers who want to check their speech times; 3) Organizers who want to manage the conference arrangements; 4) Developers who want to integrate conference data into their own applications; 5) AI assistant users who want to obtain real-time conference information. It is especially suitable for quickly querying the next speech, missed topics, or filtering content by topic during the conference.Main features
Real-time agenda query
Provides full access to the Nerdearla agenda, including speech titles, times, speakers, descriptions, and URL links. All data is processed based on the Argentine time zone (GMT - 3).
Intelligent caching system
The automatic caching system is initialized when the server starts, and the data is valid for 24 hours, ensuring that the response time for all queries is < 100ms. The cache is automatically updated after expiration.
Multi - transport layer support
Supports two connection methods, STDIO (local) and HTTP/SSE (remote), to adapt to different usage scenarios and deployment environments.
7 query tools
Provides 7 dedicated tools: Get upcoming speeches, past speeches, filter by tags, next speech, missed speeches, best recommendations, and cache information.
Easter Egg feature
Hidden special feature: Using the get_best_talk_recommendation tool will reveal a special speech recommended by the development team.
Docker containerization
Provides full Docker support, including Docker Compose configuration, for easy and rapid deployment and scaling.
Advantages
⚡ Ultra - fast response: The intelligent cache ensures that the query response time is < 100ms
🔄 Automatic update: The 24 - hour cache is automatically refreshed, keeping the data always up - to - date
🔌 Easy integration: Standard MCP protocol, seamlessly integrated with systems such as Claude and n8n
🌐 Multi - platform support: Two connection methods, local and remote, adapt to various usage scenarios
📊 Complete data: Provides complete information such as speech URLs, times, and speakers
🐳 Containerized deployment: Docker support simplifies deployment and maintenance
Limitations
📶 Network - dependent: Requires an internet connection to fetch data from the Nerdearla official website
⏰ Cache delay: There may be a maximum of 24 - hour delay in data updates (can be manually refreshed)
🔧 Configuration required: Initial use requires configuring Claude Desktop
🌍 Regional limitation: Optimized mainly for the Argentine time zone (GMT - 3)
🔄 Single data source: Only obtains data from the Nerdearla official website
How to use
