🚀 Quick Start

1. Obtain the Volcengine API Key

Go to Volcengine -> Volcano Ark Console to activate the service and apply for an API Key.

2. Run with npx

npx seedream-image-mcp --ark-key=YOUR_API_KEY

3. Configure in Cursor and Claude Desktop

Edit Cursor MCP Configuration or claude_desktop_config.json:

💻 Usage Examples

In the AI Agent tool, you can use it like this:

⚠️ Important Note

Image link validity: This project uses the original Volcengine API. The generated image links usually expire after 24 hours. If you need to save the images for a long time, please download them to your local device in time.

You can choose according to your needs:

Mode 1: Local Run 🔧

• You need to apply for the Volcengine API key by yourself.
• The image links expire after 24 hours, and you need to download the images to your local device for use.

Mode 2: Cloud Version ✨

• ✅ No need to apply for an API key. It's ready to use out of the box.
• ✅ Images support permanent storage on the CDN.
• ✅ Support features such as webp compression, background removal, and fast concurrent generation of multiple images.
• ✅ Provide a certain free quota.
• ✅ More cost - effective for large - volume usage.
