An open - source MCP - server for local self - hosting or remote deployment. It enables LLMs to query and retrieve real - time open data, documents, protocols, and records from accessible API:s and open databases of the Parliament and Government Offices of Sweden.

Total Number of Tools: 32

The MCP server exposes 32 specialized tools for retrieving data and references, such as:

• Members – Information, activities, assignments, etc.
• Parliamentary Documents – Motions, written questions, etc.
• Speeches – Follow what has been said in the chamber, etc.
• Votes – How the members vote
• Government Documents – E.g., SOU, propositions, press releases

Data Sources

• Parliament: data.riksdagen.se - Official open API
• Government: g0v.se - Open data from the Government Offices

Option 1: Remote Server (Recommended)

Use the hosted server without installation - always up - to - date and accessible!

Advantages:

• ✅ No installation or configuration required
• ✅ Always the latest version
• ✅ Works directly in all MCP clients
