An MCP server designed to manage Thomas Frank's Ultimate Brain Notion system. It offers 26 workflow - oriented tools for Tasks, Projects, Notes, Tags, and Goals, leveraging the PARA methodology.

📦 Installation

To set up the MCP server for Ultimate Brain, follow these steps:

1. Create a Notion integration and share your Ultimate Brain databases with it.
2. Run the setup command for your client. It will automatically discover your data sources from Notion and write the config file.

Claude Code

# Project scope (writes .mcp.json in current directory)

# User scope (writes ~/.claude.json)

Claude Desktop

You can also pass your Notion secret via an environment variable to skip the prompt:

Tasks (6)

• search_tasks — Filter tasks by name, status, project, priority, due date, My Day, labels, parent task, completion date.
• create_task — Create a task with a name, status, due date, priority, project, and labels.
• update_task — Patch any properties of a task.
• complete_task — Mark a task as done with recurrence handling.
• get_my_day — Retrieve My Day tasks sorted by priority.
• get_inbox_tasks — Get unprocessed tasks that need triage.

• search_projects — Filter projects by status and tag.
• get_project_detail — Get project properties, task breakdown, and recent notes.
