This TypeScript-based MCP server offers specialized tools and prompts for creating DecentSampler drum kit presets, including WAV file analysis and XML generation.

⚠️ Important Note

Creating complex presets may exceed the maximum message length limit of Claude Desktop. We're still working on optimizing this tool to bypass this limitation. If you're creating a simple preset without many microphones or variations, the XML file should be small enough for Claude to write.

📦 Installation

Prerequisites

• Node.js (v14 or higher)
• npm (usually comes with Node.js)
• Claude Desktop application (for use with Claude)

Setup

1. Install dependencies:

npm install

2. Build the server:

npm run build

3. Add the following to the config.json file:

💻 Usage Examples

• Simple presets are suitable for scenarios without many microphones or variations.
